Learn Piano from Scratch: Watch, Imitate and Play

Play real songs without reading sheet music or studying theory.

About the Method

In this method, you will learn to play the piano in a simple and practical way, through 40 songs arranged in increasing order of difficulty. You start from scratch and progress step by step, learning simply by watching and imitating what you see in the tutorials.

The method starts with a video lesson that teaches step by step what the musical notes are and how to find them on the piano keyboard. This lesson is also available in PDF format for those who prefer a reading version.

For each song, you’ll get two tutorials: a Normal Version showing my hands and falling note indicators to guide you, and a Slow Version with synchronized sheet music for easier practice.

You will learn to play the piano in a practical way, without needing music theory. The sheet music appears in the videos only as an additional aid for those who already have some experience reading it, but it is not necessary to follow the method.

Frequently Asked Questions

This method is ideal for beginners of any age who want to learn piano from scratch or have already started and wish to keep improving with a simple and practical approach. It’s perfect for those who don’t have much time to study but want to learn in a straightforward way, from the comfort of home and at their own pace.

Yes, if you have a keyboard with at least 6 octaves, you can follow the tutorials easily — no problem!

No! With this method, you’ll learn everything from the beginning, even if you’ve never had any contact with a piano.

Currently, the method is available only in English, with narration in the first two lessons: “Welcome Lesson” (Lesson 1) and “Musical Notes and How to Find Them on the Piano” (Lesson 2).

However, if you already know all the musical notes and how to locate them on the piano, and you only wish to follow the song tutorials, you can skip these lessons and still follow the method without knowing the language.

This is because the 40 song tutorials have no narration — anyone, in any language, can follow them. Simply watch what is being played and reproduce it, following the songs in progressive order.

You’ll have access through Hotmart, a secure and trusted platform used by millions of people worldwide. There, you’ll be able to watch the video tutorials, download the PDFs, and learn each song at your own pace.

It depends on your pace and how much time you can dedicate to practice. If you study just 15 minutes a day, you can learn the first 10 songs in a few weeks. With 30 minutes a day, you might reach that goal in just a few days. There’s no exact timeline — what really matters is consistency. The more regularly you practice, the faster and more solid your progress will be.
